Providing Outstanding Single Source Hydraulic Sales and Service for More Than 20 Years

Cylinder

LHM Hydraulics was founded in 1999 as a family-run business dedicated to building a reputation of quality through outstanding service while establishing personal relationships with customers.

In 2020 LHM became employee-owned when a small group of employees took the helm and decided to build on the rich business history of providing single-source hydraulic sales and service, cylinder sales and repair, machining, fabrication, and material handling solutions by maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction in the Willamette Valley.

Our Values

LHM’s new ownership group has built our livelihood on our values. These values drive our company forward and are reflected in everything we do. As our business and the world evolve, these values remain constant, guiding us into the future.

LHM’s commitment to you, our customer, is your absolute satisfaction with these values in mind.

Stella

Shop Mascot and Real Talent at LHM

Stella joined the LHM family in February of 2020 and can be usually be found holding the stairs down by actively napping on them, or checking our customers for snacks. Stella doesn’t take phone calls, and has no email, but she is happy to meet customers in person in her office, unless they are cat people, she finds cat people suspicious.

Kristi Laing

Ownership partner at LHM Hydraulics

Kristi is a long time resident of the area. She grew up 30 miles West of Eugene in the small town of Globe, or as most know it, Walton, Oregon. Kristi traces her local family lineage back to the 1800s.

Kristi began her career at LHM in 2007 as a payroll and bookkeeping assistant. 14 years of hard work and ethical practices facilitated her integration into every facet of business services at LHM. Kristi now oversees all aspects of accounting, human resources, and customer relations for LHM. She prides herself on treating every customer like family because, as deep as her roots run in the area, they just might BE family.

In her off time Kristi, her husband Tommy, and Stella enjoy spending time with the family. The Laing’s are avid sports fans and are deeply involved in local sports, spectating, coaching and participating when they are able. With their two kids grown, Kristi and Tommy spend as much time as possible camping and exploring.

Call Kristi at 541-302-6700, email her at Kristi@lhmhyd.com, or stop by the office at anytime.

Sean McGarry

Ownership partner at LHM Hydraulics

Sean grew up in the small logging town of Bigfork, Minnesota in the 70’s. After graduating high school and a tour in the Navy, Sean decided to head west, and landed in the Willamette Valley in 1991.

Sean began his career at LHM Hydraulics as a Cylinder Tech in 2007, and has since branched out to become the foreman at the West Eugene facility overseeing all aspects of the “shop” division, including cylinder repair, machining, and fabrication. In those 14 years Sean has gained a wealth of knowledge, and experience, but more importantly has worked alongside our customers to continually build faith in his integrity and confidence in his workmanship.

In his off time Sean enjoys riding his motorcycle, fishing, and hanging out with the people he cares about. If “a cold one” should become a part of any of those activities… well… he is not opposed.

Call Sean at 541-302-6700, or email him at Sean@lhmhyd.com.

Mike Welles

Ownership partner at LHM Hydraulics

Mike was born in Boise, Idaho, and moved to Oregon with his family in 1974.  Mike joined the Army in 1980 and spent a tour in Germany providing maintenance and support for deuce and a half’s and jeeps among other equipment. On his return from the service, Mike took a job maintaining forklifts and equipment for a local manufacturer in Eugene before becoming a technician for Clark. He then moved into a management position for McKenzie Forklift in 1999 before moving to LHM in 2004.

Working locally in the material handling field for over 20 years has provided Mike the opportunity to touch many lives, turn many wrenches, and most notably to earn a reputation for customer service, support, and satisfaction that is unsurpassed.

In his off time Mike enjoys hanging out with his family, off-roading in his Jeep or on his quad’s, and riding his Harley Davidson, repairing his Harley Davidson, looking for other Harley Davidson’s to buy, and then fixing them too because… well… Harley Davidson.

Mike can be reached at 541-302-6700, email him at Mike@lhmhyd.com, or stop by his office any time.
